NESS Smart Bell IP Intercom answer your businesses front door 24/7.

I recently installed a NESS Smart bell IP Intercom at a Dentist practice in Sydney. The owner of the business wanted to be able to operate the reception all day even when the receptionist was at lunch, at the bank, doing the mail or was sick for the day.

I installed a NESS Smart Bell surface mount door station and electronic strike lock at the front door. These devices were connected back to the NESS Egateway which is the central network of the system. The Egateway was then connected and configured to the Businesses Broadband Router Network.  

Once these parts were installed and networked correctly. I downloaded the NESS Smart bell App from Google Play and registered the dentist’s smartphone with the Smart bell system. I tested the system thoroughly and was impressed with its capability.

As soon as a customer presses the button on the intercom the Egateway calls your Smartphone and the app opens up on your phone's screen. You can then answer the call and have a face to face conversation with the customer. If required, you can then open the door and let them into the waiting area. This system was perfectly suited to the Dentists operational situation as he could have a patient in his chair and still answer the front door, let patients in to wait for their appointment and still keep the business secure by having the front door locked 24/7.
